Apex Legends Season 25: Prodigy is here, bringing a new Legend, the return of Arenas mode, weapon changes, and a revamped Ranked experience. Here’s everything you need to know.

New Legend: Sparrow
Season 25 introduces Sparrow, a high-mobility, recon-focused Legend from Italy. Her toolkit is all about agility and tactical scanning:
- Passive – Double Jump: Perform a second jump while mid-air.
- Tactical – Tracker Dart: Fires a dart that scans enemies and can be used on Survey Beacons.
- Ultimate – Stinger Bolt: Launches a bolt that emits a pulse, damaging and slowing enemies in its radius.
Sparrow will be free for all players for the first two weeks of the season. After that, you can unlock her permanently via Legend Tokens or Apex Coins.
Bocek Bow Returns
The Bocek Compound Bow is back in ground loot, with new features:
- Explosive Arrows: Combine Frag Grenades with arrows for explosive effects.
- Arrow Retrieval: Pick up used arrows from death boxes and the environment.
This high-skill weapon is great for silent, calculated takedowns and area denial.
Arenas Mode Returns (Limited Time)
The 3v3 Arenas mode is making a comeback as a Limited-Time Mode:
- Shorter Matches: Now best-of-five rounds instead of nine.
- Loadout Variety: Weapons rotate with bans and discounts to encourage flexibility.
- Healing Items Provided: No need to buy meds—everyone starts with basics.
Later in the season, Arenas will evolve into Arenas: Duels, a 1v1 mode designed for fast-paced skirmishes.
Pathfinder Gets Buffed
Pathfinder sees some long-awaited love in Season 25:
- Zipline Zen: Reduced damage taken while on ziplines (50% less).
- Double Charges: His Tactical and Ultimate now hold two charges each.
These changes make Pathfinder much more viable in high-mobility comps.
Weapon Changes
Several weapons have been tweaked for balance:
- Wingman: Compatible with laser sights; slightly increased fire rate.
- P2020: Smaller magazine size.
- All SMGs: Headshot multiplier increased by +1, boosting CQC lethality.
Expect faster TTK in close-range encounters, especially with SMGs back in meta relevance.
Ranked System Updates
Season 25 brings some experimental changes to Ranked:
- Ranked Progress in Pubs: You can now earn Ranked points through public matches (up to a cap).
- Exclusive Rewards: Dive Trails, Ranked Weapon Charms, and Skydive Emotes return for top players.
This change encourages casual players to climb without strict Ranked queues.
Battle Pass: Prodigy
The Prodigy Battle Pass includes:
- 60 tiers of unlockable content
- Legendary Skins for Pathfinder, Catalyst, and Valkyrie
- Reactive Weapon Skins that change with kills
- New Emotes, Trackers, and Music Packs
