Wild Iron Event Overview

New Wild Cards

During the event, players can craft one of eight Wild Cards from Replicators. These cards give unique bonuses that can swing a fight in your favor.

Wild Iron Event Packs & Reward Shop
- Event Packs: Each pack contains 1 guaranteed event item + 2 standard items. Legendary skins are included for Lifeline, Pathfinder, Vantage, plus weapon skins for Mastiff, Nemesis, and Bocek. The new Mythic Flatline is also available.
- Reward Shop: Complete daily challenges to earn “Cores,” which can be exchanged for cosmetics. Rewards rotate halfway through the event.
System & Stability Updates
Respawn has improved game stability and security with the return of Steam Datagram Relay (SDR) for Ranked:
- SDR is now integrated with GameLift, reducing DoS attacks by 90%+.
- Enabled for 100% of Diamond & Masters matches, with expansion planned.
- Continuous monitoring ensures minimal impact on latency or packet loss.
Gameplay Adjustments
- EVO Harvesters: Spawn rate increased to 10–11 (up from 7–8). Fewer duplicates in single POIs.
- Ring Exploits: Fixed to prevent abuse.
- Assault Class: Stowed reload increased to 4s (was 2s).
Legend Balance Changes
Ash (Nerfed)
- Predator’s Pursuit cooldown: 8s → 12s.
- Dash less effective unless in same movement direction.
- Arc Snare: Duration reduced 8s → 6s, weaker pull, breaks easier, no extra shield damage.
- Removed Upgrades: Dual Breach, Marked for Death.
- New Upgrades:
- Longer Reach: +25m Phase Breach range.
- Ultimate Cooldown: -30s Phase Breach cooldown.
Caustic
- Gas damage ramps more slowly (every 2 ticks).
- No aim-punch when damaged by gas.
Mad Maggie (Buffed + Adjusted)
- Riot Drill: Faster firing & immediate activation.
- Wrecking Ball: Throw sped up 25%, more reliable, damage increased to 25. Lifetime reduced 10s → 7s.
- Speed Pads: Buff lasts 3.5s (was 2s), pad lifetime reduced to 20s (was 60s). No pads from final explosion.
- New Upgrades:
- Gunrunning: Speed buff applies to SMGs/pistols.
- Fire Ball: Leaves magma patches; Maggie takes 50% less fire damage.
Seer (Buffed)
- Passive: Range extended to 75m. Clearer UI & constant heartbeat.
- Tactical: Scan lasts 4s (was 2.5s), cooldown reduced to 20s, silence reduced to 2.5s, slow increased to 1s. Scanning enemies grants a speed boost.
- Ultimate: Sphere radius increased (38m), throw range buffed, added hover/jump bonuses, enemy threat indicators, and better throw angles.
- New Upgrades: Lasting Beats, Home Base, Energizing Focus.
Sparrow (Nerfed)
- Tracker Dart duration 15s → 12s.
- Stinger Bolt HP reduced 550 → 400; pulse slows allies as well as enemies.
- Extra Traps upgrade now +1 (was +2).
- Improved aim clarity & VFX.
Weapon & Attachment Updates
- Gold Magazines: Stowed reload delay increased 2s → 4s.
- Locked Hop-Up Point Costs: Adjusted across Accelerator, Graffiti Mod, Turbocharger, Skullpiercer, etc. (generally increased).

Bug Fixes
- Ammo notifications fixed after Infinite Ammo Amp.
